I’ve been where you are. As a property manager, I used to absolutely love my job. I thrived on building relationships with residents, organizing community events, and delivering great results for property owners. But as time went on, the demands started piling up—emails, meetings, and deadlines, one after the other.

It crept in so slowly, I didn’t even notice it at first. One day after a long day at the office, I thought, "I’ll just finish this after dinner." That night, I fired up my computer after dinner, thinking it was a one-time thing. But it didn’t stop there. Soon, that one time turned into every night.

Before I knew it, my life looked like this: work all day, eat dinner, and work all night.

I tried everything to get ahead. I skipped lunches, worked weekends, even worked on road trips while my partner drove. But no matter how much harder I pushed, I was just burning out.

The problem? I was so focused on doing more that I never considered what I should stop doing.

The truth I learned the hard way:
